We gather together; we sing; we pray; we listen; we learn; and we leave inspired and healed, with a greater, deeper sense that God is with us and has hope for our lives and for our world.

Music
At Green Valley, we share a genuine love and appreciation for traditional hymns and congregational singing. We fill the sanctuary with voices raised together accompanied by piano and organ.
Our choir opens each service, and we often have members of the church family share their musical gifts during the service.
Spiritual Growth
At Green Valley, we believe that we never stop growing in our faith. We seek to be a community of vibrant and growing Christians where questions and doubts are viewed as doorways into deeper understanding and sturdier faith.
In addition to our Sunday morning and evening services, we offer adult Sunday School classes each week at 9:45 AM, as well as our Wednesday evening Bible study at 7:00 PM.
Children & Youth
At Green Valley, we believe that the children and youth of the church are vital to our very existence. We offer a variety of programs and opportunities for children, youth, and families to meet, connect, and fellowship together.
Women
Since the inception of the church, women have formed groups to create space for study, fellowship, community, and fun. At Green Valley, our ladies organization is the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). They meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM, and provide organization and leadership for special mission projects of the church. Women of all ages are welcome to join in at any time.
Men
Our men’s organization at Green Valley is called Brotherhood. They have a weekly Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Monday mornings at 7:00 AM at Pat’s Kountry Diner in Lebanon, VA. Men of all ages are welcome to join in at any time.
Seniors
Green Valley has a very active senior population. Every Wednesday morning a lively group of seniors and retirees gather for our Senior Saints Bible Study at 11:00 AM. Additionally, our seniors often organize a variety of outings and trips each year.
Outreach
Caring for those in our church and community is one of the greatest gifts. Our pastor, deacons, and church members frequently provide outreach to members of our church family and community offering comfort and healing during some of the most difficult times. Our visiting team meets regularly to ensure that our members experiencing sickness and bereavement are cared for and comforted, and that those in hospitals and long-term care facilities are visited often.
Little Ed. Learning Center
Little Ed. Learning Center is a Christian preschool facility housed within Green Valley Baptist Church, that serves children ages 3 through 5 by fostering their physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual development. The Little Ed. Learning Center is a ministry of the church, and aims to partner with families in the community in raising children in the Christian faith.
